This guide explains the steps required to join Pag-IBIG's digital services called Virtual Pag-IBIG, from creating an account to verifying your identity through government-issued documents.
Pag-IBIG MID Number
A personal and unique 12-digit Member iDentification (MID) Number will be assigned to every Pag-IBIG member. Detailed guide in filling out the Member's Data Form (MDF) can be found on Annex A of said form should you want to manually process the application on your nearest Pag-IBIG Branch office. Virtual Pag-IBIG Key Benefits and Available Services.
Registering with Virtual Pag-IBIG can help increase convenience when it comes to accessing key benefits and services as the services are accessible anytime, anywhere using your smartphone or computer with internet connection.
Some key benefits and services available:
1. Register for a permanent Member’s Identification (MID) Number;
2. View your Regular Savings records and the annual dividends it has earned;
3. Open MP2 Savings and view your contributions and the annual dividends it has earned;
4. Apply and Pay your loans such as Housing, Multi-Purpose and Calamity loan;
5. Chat with Lingkod Pag-IBIG bot 24/7 for inquiries or concerns.
Create Your Virtual Pag-IBIG.
Available on the Pag-IBIG website (https://www.pagibigfundservices.com) are three (3) different ways to create an online account:
1. Via your Loyalty Card Plus;
2. Create and Activate your Account Online;
3. Account Creation for OFWs.
In this article, we will focus on # 2, Create and Activate your Account Online. Be sure you have the following documents ready:
1. Pag-IBIG MID Number
2. Active mobile number (a One-time Password (OTP) will be sent here)
3. Active email address (the confirmation email will be sent here)
4. Photo of 2 valid identification cards
5. Selfie photo while holding those identification cards in #4
Create your Member's Profile by filling out basic personal details, including contact information, email address and current home or office address. Be ready with the Security Questions for password retrieval. They are pre-prepared, just supply the personal answers and remember them. You will also be required to upload a picture of yourself with 2 valid ID cards (applicable documents, such as passport or driver's license) for validation and identity verification purposes. After these steps have been completed and submitted, your account will be settled in no time!
Submit and Review Your Application.
Once you have ensured that all the information in your form is correct and accurate, you will be ready to submit your application. After submission, your application documents will be reviewed by a Pag-IBIG employee. Check your email regularly, as they may contact you if they require any additional information.
Receive Confirmation Email of Approval.
Once your registration is approved, you will receive an email from Pag-IBIG confirming your approval. This confirmation email will include a link to the Member's Self-Service portal and Temporary Password. You can then use these to log into the portal and begin using all the Pag-IBIG Online services available to you.
Make Contributions to Pag-IBIG on a Regular Basis.
One of the benefits of Virtual Pag-IBIG is being able to manage regular contributions.
